Travis Kelce reveals unexpected bonus to Taylor Swift at Chiefs gamesEd Easton Jr.,
The Kansas City Chiefs are undefeated at the start of the 2026 season, with plenty of momentum to keep their Super Bowl run alive. On the latest episode of the New Heights podcast, Travis Kelce told his brother, Jason, about the unexpected bonus of Taylor Swift's presence at games: a new fanbase.
"I have a lot more people coming up to me expressing their, not necessarily their love for the Chiefs," said Travis, "but their… What am I, what words am I trying to use?"
The 11-time Pro Bowler tried to find the right words to describe his wife's impact.
'Travis? Use your words," said Jason. "Use your words, Travis!"
Swift has been a popular presence at Chiefs games, showing her support for the team as a new audience is also being introduced to football.
"Expressing their stories of them and their daughters having a moment of watching football together," said Travis, "And that has been undoubtedly the majority of people that come up to me that talk football just off the street."
Swift notably talked football with ESPN's Pat McAfee during the season opener against the Denver Broncos, and her Week 2 Indianapolis Colts game went viral after Kelce scored a touchdown, when she pointed to her wedding ring and yelled, "That's my husband!"
"I didn't have that one on the guard when I started dating Tay (Taylor Swift), let alone asked her to marry me," said Travis, "but it's been pretty cool to see the influx of Chiefs fans outside of all the Super Bowl appearances and all that."
Kansas City is off to an undefeated start this season and will be featured again on Sunday Night Football in Week 7.
