Kendall Jenner and Jacob Elordi have known each other for years, but their relationship is reportedly taking a romantic turn. Earlier this week,a source toldPeoplethat the two stars have been secretly “hanging out” for months after theysparked dating rumors at Coachella. While the insider didn’t specify whether their connection was romantic, a source gaveEntertainment Tonightmore details yesterday, revealing that yes, there’s a “flirtation” between them.
“Kendall and Jacob have run in similar circles for years, but in the last couple months, they’ve developed an attraction and flirtation,” the insider explained. “It’s been fun for Kendall to have a new crush.”
The source added that it’s been “easy” for Elordi and Jenner to bond. “They get along because they’re both low-key and take their careers seriously,” the insider explained.
Jenner and Elordi have known each other since at least 2022.Peoplereported that Elordi attended her birthday party that year, anda photo of them togetherin Paris that February also circulated on social media.

Elordi is recently single after being in a years-long on-off relationship with Olivia Jade Giannullithat started in 2021. In February, a source toldEntertainment Tonightthat Giannulli “has moved on from Jacob Elordi and is ready for a new chapter,” noting that Elordi’s career contributed to their split. “Jacob is very focused on work and gets intense when he’s on a project. It was difficult for Olivia to sustain a relationship with him.”
Jenner, meanwhile, has been publicly single for the last year. In January, the 30-year-old star told Owen Thiele onIn Your Dreamsthat she has been purposely taking time for herself.
“When I turned 29, I remember saying to myself, I do feel like I’ve been in—and there’s nothing wrong with it. I’ve had great relationships; I’ve had not so great relationships—but I felt like through my twenties, I was in a lot,” she said. “I was in a few long-term, consistent relationships, like kind of nearly, not right after the other, but like near each other. So I never really had my twenties to myself. I’m speaking on independence.”
“So when I turned 29, I really made like a minor commitment to myself, where I was like, ‘I’m not going to reject anything…I’m going to stay open to anything that feels like it would suit me,’” she continued. “But I really wanted to have like a me year where I chose myself. And again, not to say that didn’t mean that people came into my life or didn’t come into my life. It wasn’t really about that. It was just about being like, ‘I want to have fun. I want to choose myself and I want to do what I want to do.’”
