Maryville pastor Josh Sullivan was already stressed about the University of Tennessee Volunteers shortly after he was rescued from kidnappers in South Africa. Sullivan arrived in South Africa with his family in 2018 and was recently abducted during a church service and held for almost a week. On Tuesday, he reunited with his family after a shootout left three kidnappers dead but Sullivan unharmed. After being rescued, Sullivan was taken to see his family and started reaching out to people in Tennessee.
