Rabbitohs great Nathan Merritt allegedly caught drink driving in Sydney at more than three times over the legal limit

South Sydney Rabbitohs legend Nathan Merritt spent the night locked up after allegedly being caught drink-driving in Sydney's inner west. The former winger, who made 237 combined appearances for the Rabbitohs and Sharks in the NRL, was stopped by police after he allegedly ran a red light in Petersham. Officers breath tested Merritt, who allegedly gave a blood alcohol reading of 0.184 -more than three times over the legal limit.
